It’s THAT time of year!

Storm season is upon us. These next months are filled with beautiful mornings that can quickly become stressful evenings. Most of us will visit our storm shelters at least once in the upcoming weeks. One of the best ways to prepare for the upcoming storms is to stock your storm shelter.

Here are a few ideas that may help as you prepare for these spring storms!

  • Flashlights and Batteries

A flashlight could light the shelter or help if there is a power outage after the storm.

  • Weather Radio

Without cell service or internet, a weather radio will keep you informed with weather updates

  • Portable Chargers

Keep devices charged with a battery-powered charger.

  • Drinks and Snacks

Keep individually wrapped snacks and water bottles in case you are in the shelter for an extended time.

  • Activities for Kids

Activities like books and games will help keep the children entertained during the storm.

Keeping supplies in your storm shelter will save you time as severe weather approaches!
