A Mother’s Day Message from our CEO

"Babies make us better!"

This phrase has continually come up in the last twelve months. As I've moved into the role of CEO and President of Trinity Insurance Group, I have found myself constantly shifting between motherhood and entrepreneurship. I've spent many years being thankful for everything motherhood has taught me. (Mostly how to be flexible!)

However, a shift has happened in my mindset. It is not how motherhood has changed me but how I continue to learn from my children. Each of my four kids has unique and God-given qualities that I admire and aspire to possess.

My oldest son, he is unapologetically himself. He has such a strong sense of self. He is always proud of himself and deeply understands his unique abilities. I strive to have his confidence.

My second-born and oldest daughter, she consistently does the extra work when no one is watching. Not a day goes by when she isn't pushing herself just a little bit more. She does this for her team and coaches, but most importantly, because she made a commitment to herself! She encourages me to do the hard things!

My sweet middle child, he finds joy in every area of his life. When life is divided into the categories of "gap or gain," he consistently lives in the GAIN! He pushes me to see the positive in everything!

My last baby, she is strong and confident in her needs and wants. She does not take no for an answer and can back up her feelings with evidence! I am in awe of how she can stand so strong in her beliefs!

As you reflect on Mother's Day and what it means, I hope you take a moment to consider what your kids are teaching you. Always remember, YOU are so loved!

God placed a big dream in my heart of raising a family AND building a business. There is JOY in doing both!

How lucky am I to have four world changers in my home who continue to push and encourage me on this journey! Babies really do make us better!

Always thankful,

Natalie Taylor, President and CEO
